Hidden Attic Space Into Walk-In Closet and Bath

When looking at a house to flip, I try to always consider all the opportunities of transforming a space into something fresh and exciting. The picture below shows what my wife and I saw in the original master bedroom closet. It was a very cramped area, but had a small door that appeared to have lots of hidden attic space behind it. So, I did what any house-flipping man would do and grabbed the flashlight eager to explore. What I found turned out to be great potential to create a new walk-in closet and master bath.

The first step was for the walls to come down!


Once that was complete, we framed in the outside wall with a couple cubby closets for extra storage space. Drywall, paint, trim, tile, and fixtures soon followed. What once was only an envision in my mind, became a bathroom oasis.
